El Azkena Rock Festival 2013, que tendrá lugar los días 28 y 29 de junio en Vitoria, ha confirmado este viernes sus primeros nombres, con The Black Crowes, The Smashing Pumpkins, Gov’t Mule, Rocket from the Crypt, Modest Mouse, Alberta Cross, M-Clan y The Sword.
Además del avance de cartel compuesto por las ya mencionadas ocho formaciones, la sala Azkena de Bilbao estrena la semana que viene un ciclo de conciertos gratuitos bajo el nombre de Azkena Rock Sessions, unas sesiones que estarán estrechamente ligadas al festival en lo estilístico. El ciclo se basará en dar a conocer a nuevos talentos que vayan surgiendo en la escena rock. Tendrá lugar los jueves de forma aleatoria y se programarán tanto artistas nacionales como internacionales.
La primera cita será el próximo jueves, 31 de enero, a partir de las nueve de la noche, con la actuación de los británicos Buffalo Summer y los bilbaínos Holly Brandy.
